Book review: The Vixen and The Vet by Katy Regnery

Please do not let the semi cheesy title fool you. This book stole my heart and I'm sure it will steal yours too! ❤️

I downloaded this title after seeing it offered for free on the App Store. (You know I'm a sucker for free anything!) The story brings together Asher and Savannah, two people who have hit bumps down the road and have emotional growing to do. Asher, the disfigured war veteran who's locked himself away from the public because of his injuries and Savannah, the investigative reporter who's run back to her small home town after being professionally humiliated in New York. What begins as a lighthearted interview for a human interest piece quickly turns into a romance that changes them both. This was a quick read for me but I haven't stopped thinking about it even after I've finished. I loved Asher and Savannah's chemistry and I appreciated how Katy developed both characters and really delved into some virtually untouched topics.
